Yealink T46U Override for Jabra and Plantronic Headsets using EHS40
The below overrides need to be applied to T46U phones that will be using Jabra and Plantronics headsets.
Firmware Requirments
For the Jabra and Plantronics headsets to properly function on the Yealink T46U, the phones need to be on the proper firmware (108.85.0.62). You can achieve this with a simple override.
If the phone has already been booted at least once, it will have the initial firmware in its configuration. As such, it's important to note that the reboot will take longer than usual in order to download and apply the firmware from the override.
If the phone has not yet been booted up (even once), it will grab the firmware in the override and boot as per normal.
HOW TO SET OVERRIDES IN THE CLIENT PORTAL
- To set the Overrides on the user's phone, first click the Phones tab in the "Manage Domains" view in the Client Portal.
- Click Filter next to the domain you're working in.
- Click Edit (small pencil icon) of the phone needing an override.
4. Click on the Advanced sub-tab and copy/paste the below overrides in the "Overrides" field.

5. The client will then need to reboot the phone. You can click the up arrow for Save and Resync.
